Do you have items to donate? We will come pick them up from your home, providing you live within 20 miles of Washington, DC. FurnishHopeDC gratefully accepts the following household items:
• FURNITURE..must be gently-used and stain-free
• couches and chairs • beds, toddler beds, and cribs, dressers
• dining room and kitchen tables, and chairs

*HOUSEHOLD GOODS:
• dishes, pots and pans in very good condition
• sheets and towels
• microwaves
• bicycles

ARE YOU SEEKING SUPPORT IN ORDER TO FURNISH YOUR HOME? FurnishHopeDC provides support to residents of DC’s WARDS 7 and 8* by providing the necessities for comfort in your new home. Inventory depends on what has been donated each week. One of our volunteers will reach out to you within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment to discuss your needs before your visit to FurnishHopeDC.

BICYCLES

Has your child always wanted a bike? Do you need a bike to get to work or school? FurnishHopeDC offers gently used bikes to residents of D.C.’s Wards 7 and 8.

HOOPS FOR HOODS

FurnishHopeDC provides basketball hoops for kids and adults to enjoy in D.C.’s Wards 7 and 8. We ask that hoops be installed in an area with a large community where everyone has access to use it. Hoops cannot be installed in a single, personal home.
